On Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 1:29pm EST, MetaZoo Games founder Michael Waddell started up another MetaZoo Hour on the official MetaZoo Discord server.

There were a total of 58 MetaZoo related questions & 3 personal/unrelated questions that were asked by members of the MetaZoo Discord community, and the answers all came directly from Michael Waddell himself; unless otherwise stated.

    Yes, most of our exclusive contracts are up in May, and every major distributor wants a seat at the table

    Every TCG has fakes, definitely think the grading services are on top of this

    Yes, only 2500, only one print run. I think it will be interesting how quickly these dry up, and there might be some regret in opening them all too soon

    We think it’s great that the MetaZoo community wants to support a cause they believe in. MetaZoo is a TCG though, and an escape from reality if we are doing our jobs properly. As such, we generally want to avoid ANY politics.

  • Will we continue to get updated maps with upcoming sets/blocks? Any chance at a globe/world map eventually? 🗺️🌎 (🧭for the scavenger hunt?) — metazuul

    I really want this, but we have yet to find a map maker that we can work directly with. If any of you know someone who has professional map making experience and an interest in MZ, please reach out to @Chaos Crystal Enthusiast

    our excellent team and the community being receptive to that growth. I said this every few months, in just a short while the fanbase will be absolutely much larger, and you all will be considered early adopters

    settled down in NYC now, finally have my own place. Getting on in Vegas too so I can work with Aoki
